
The %SystemDrive% will reflect on which drive your operating system was installed, on (C:, D:, or E:). In a standard form of installation in Windows, the directory is typically at %SystemDrive%Program Files. An accurate example would be ‘C:Program FilesAdobe’, the folder ‘Adobe’ here, is the said subdirectory created. Most of the applications installed under the ‘Program Files’ automatically create a subdirectory (subfolder) for its application-specific resources. It is where applications that aren’t part of the system files (operating system applications and drivers) are usually installed.
